Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 & ¾ cups milk
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 gr melted chocolate (dark, or milk) for the topping
  • powered sugar
  • fresh strawberries
  • fresh blueberries

Instructions
 

  • Make the batter

    Start by mixing the dry ingredients in one bowl—flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
    Combine everything, then gently fold in the whipped egg whites (this step makes the waffles extra light and fluffy—totally worth it).
  • Cook the waffles

    Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it. Pour in the batter and cook until the waffles are golden and slightly crispy on the outside.
  • Assemble

    Place your waffle on a plate while it’s still warm. Add the strawberries (mix of sliced and halved) and scatter the blueberries on top. Drizzle the melted chocolate over everything—don’t be shy here. Finish with a light dusting of powdered sugar.
