- 1 ripe peach (peeled, pitted, and chopped)
- 1 ripe banana (peeled and sliced)
- A splash of breast milk, formula, or water to thin the puree
If your peach has a tough or fuzzy skin, it’s best to remove it for young babies.
Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan.
Score a small “X” in the bottom of the peach with a knife.
Place the peach in the boiling water for 30–60 seconds.
Transfer immediately to a bowl of ice water.
Once cool, peel the skin off — it should slide off easily!
Once peeled, remove the pit and chop the peach into small pieces.
Peel and slice the banana.
If desired, steam or simmer the peach chunks for 5 minutes to soften further
Add the peach and banana to a blender or baby food processor.
Puree until smooth and creamy. Add liquid if needed for desired consistency.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature before serving.
